DAY 01


Arrive in Riga, transfer to the hotel. have a free time in Riga Old Town to see remarkable sites like St.Peter's Church with its famous rooster, St.Jacobs Church, Dom Square and Dom Cathedral, home to one of the world's most valuable historic organs. The Powder Tower and city walls will make you feel the breath of the medieval. See the oldest stone residential dwellings in Riga, the Three Brothers, the Great and Small Guilds, and the fortification wall of Riga with the Swedish Gate the last surviving gate in the wall. Pass by the Cat House and the Town Hall Square with the beautiful and elegant Blackheads House. Visit the Riga Castle founded in 1330, the Parliament, the Monument of Liberty and fantastic Riga`s Opera House.

Free time for enjoying the city on your own - different bars, clubs, lounges and casinos here are for all tastes. Most of them open till early morning hours on weekends.

DAY 02


(190 km, 100% tarmak)

Breakfast in hotel. Pick up the rented car and info pack with the map and detailed itinerary from the hotel. Drive to Saulkrasti. Sightseeing and walking trails totally about 10 km walking en route:

Nature trail over the dunes and through the pine forest at Saulkrasti (1 hour). Forest hiking trail of the Baron von Munchhausen at Dunte (2h).

Walking trail through the very rare coastal meadows atAinazi– bird watching possibilities in spring and fall (0.3 hours). Cross the boarder area and drive toParnu. Near Parnu is Luitemaa walking trail which goes along the sea and through marsh. There are several observation towers and bird watching possibilities (2-3 hours).

Overnight at the hotel in Parnu.

DAY 03


(~275 km, 100% tarmac)

Breakfast in hotel. Sightseeing in Estonian beach resort – Parnu. Parnu is a town of lime-trees, parks, sea and historic spa resort of Estonia. Ferry from Virtsu toKuivastu at Muhu island (0.5 hours). Sightseeing and walking trails totally up to 10 km hiking en route:

The ethnographic fishermen’s’ village Koguva at Muhu island (1.5 hours).

Koigi walking trail through marsh and forest at the Saaremaa island (2-3 hours). The Sorve horn in the western part of the Saaremaa island. Its former military basis for Soviet army (1.5 hours).

Overnight at the guest house at Kuressaare (wc and shower shared).

DAY 04


(~150 km, 70% tarmac, 30% gravel road)

Breakfast in guest house. Sightseeing at Kuressaare. Attractions include impressive medieval castle, town's centre with its art galleries, little shops, cafes and restaurants. Drive from Kuressaare to Kardla. Take a ferry from Triigi to Soru approximately 1.5 hours.

En route sightseeing and walking trails totally about 7 km walking:

Viidumae Nature restricted area with a forest trail and observation tower at the seaside (1 hour). Visit Panga Cliff is about 22 m high dolomite cliff at the coast (1 hour). Move to Ojarku boardwalk trail on the Kasari Island through overgrown coastal area with an observation tower near Kaina bay where bird watching is available (1 hour). Visit Saare nature trail on the Kasari island which is a stripe of land covered with junipers. Here is available bird watching in springs and autumns (1,5 hour).

Overnight at the hotel in Kardla.

DAY 05


(140 km, 90% tarmac, 10 % gravel road)

Breakfast in hotel. Take a ferry from Heltermaa to Rohukula (~2 hours). Walking trails totally about 5 km and sightseeing en route:

Enjoy walking trail at Matsalu National park boardwalk through the coastal reed fields (5 hours) and have a sightseeing in Haapsalu.

Overnight at the hotel at Haapsalu.

DAY 06


(180 km, 98% tarmac, 2% gravel road)

Breakfast in hotel. Sightseeing and walking trails (totally about 8 km walking) en route:

Walking trail at the Paldiski Peninsula – the trail starts at the fortification which was build by the Peter the 1st and leads along the steep Baltic sea banks, sightseeing of the former military basis of the Soviet military (2-3 hours). Take a walk through Keila Nature Park to Keila Waterfall (1-2 hours). Drive toTallinn and free time in the evening.

Overnight in the hotel in Tallinn.

DAY 07


(140 km, 90% tarmac, 10 % gravel road)

Breakfast in hotel. Explore the beautiful medieval Old Town of the Tallinn on your own. Tallinn is the oldest capital in Northern Europe, first put on the map in 1154 by Arab geographer Al-Idrisi. Enjoy a walking in the UNESCO heritage listed Tallinn Old Town. Explore Holy Spirit Church, the 600 years old Gothic Town Hall, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, the world`s oldest functioning Pharmacy on Town Hall Square and the 159 meters high Oleveste Church which was the highest structure in the world in the 16th century. Visit Toompea Hill for breathtaking views over the city. Toompea Castle was built in the 13th and 14th centuries and is the seat of Estonia`s parliament.

Return the car at Tallinn Airport.

Departure from Tallinn or return in Riga and leave the car at Riga Airport.
