Vienna Historical City Tour with Schonbrunn Palace Visit

From the magnificent buildings of the Ring to the splendor of Schonbrunn Palace, you'll see all the highlights of Vienna on this three-hour city tour. The tour gives you a thorough overview of Vienna's most significant historical sights, and focuses on the famous Schonbrunn Palace.

You'll also see the Museum of Applied Arts, the State Opera House, the Museum of Fine Arts and the Museum of Natural History. The Hofburg is another highlight, the famous residence of Empress Elizabeth, affectionately known as Sisi to the Austrians. Vienna To Salzburg

This day board your Train from Vienna at 08:36 hrs and arrival in Salzburg at 10:58 hrs. On arrival, check in at the hotel on your own.

Day time will be at your leisure to rest and enjoy lunch or to explore something on your own. Later in the afternoon, enjoy the city tour.

Salzburg

Original Sound of Music and Salt Mines Day Trip

Bavarian Mountains and Salt Mines On leaving Salzburg the journey takes us along the King's Lake river to the picturesque Alpenstrasse. Upon arrival at the mines slip into traditional miners' clothes and enter the mines to hear historical and legendary tales of the fascinating underground world. Using the same slides as hundreds of miners before, descend to the grottos, the magical world beneath the surface of the earth. You end your adventure with a raft sail across the famous salt lake, accompanied by eerie, mystical sounds.

DAY 05:

Salzburg To Lucerne Via Zurich

This day board your train from Salzburg at 08:02 hrs and arrival in Zurich at 10:58 hrs. Then use your Swiss transfer card and by train to Lucerne – duration 45 minutes.

Lucerne – Mt. Titlis – Lucerne

Excursion to Mount Titlis – at 3020 m / 10’000 ft

From Lucerne the train takes you to the mountain monestry village Engelberg where you board a gondola which takes you up to the Trübsee. You continue your trip by another gondola to Stand and finally the first revolving Titlis Rotair cablecar takes you up to Mount Titlis.

For a spectacular, close-up insight into a glacier, visit the glacier cave and ride the Ice Flyer chairlift.

Your morning tour starts with a drive up to Piazzale Michelangelo to admire wonderful panoramic views of Florence. Expand your stay in Florence with an afternoon visit to the Leaning Tower of Pisa, one of Italy's most popular attractions. With your transport and sightseeing taken care of, you can sit back and enjoy your half-day visit to the famous Renaissance city of Pisa. After a panoramic drive through the Tuscan countryside, you'll drive along the embankment lining the River Arno into Pisa. Your visit begins with a guided visit of Piazza dei Miracoli, home to the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa (exterior visit). This masterpiece of Romanesque art is surrounded by the equally beautiful baptistery (exterior visit) and cathedral (visit inside).

Florence To Venice

Murano, Burano and Torcello Half-Day Sightseeing Tour

Explore the famous islands of the Venice lagoon - Murano, Burano and Torcello - on a half-day excursion. You'll see a glass-blowing display on Murano, shop for lace on Burano and visit Venice's first church on the tranquil island of Torcello. This morning or afternoon tour is a great introduction to the magical islands of the Venetian lagoon.

Boarding a comfortable motor boat, you'll speed along the Venetian lagoon to Murano, famous for its glassware. During the visit you'll explore shops, factories and watch the skilled glass-blowers as they create works of art. You'll also have time to visit a museum showcasing the world-famous Murano glass.

DAY 14:

Rome – Capri – Naples – Rome

Capri Day Trip from Rome

This scenic full-day trip from Rome to Capri is a must for any visitor to Italy! You'll sail across the Gulf of Naples to the island of Capri, known as the 'Pearl of the Mediterranean', where you have the option to take a boat ride to the beautiful Blue Grotto and take in stunning views from Anacapri.

Your journey begins by heading south along the Highway of the Sun, crossing the fertile Roman countryside and the area known as Castelli Romani dotted with enchanting medieval villages.

Arriving in Naples, you will board a jet boat for the 45-minute crossing to Marina Grande, the port of Capri. Here you will have the option (fees payable direct) of boarding a motorboat to reach the Blue Grotto (Grotta Azzurra), where sunlight passes into an underwater cavity and shines through the seawater, creating a magical blue reflection that illuminates the cavern. The boat trip is subject to weather and sea conditions.

On your return to the port, you'll board a minibus for a scenic drive to Anacapri, 918 feet (280 meters) above sea level. You will see wonderful views of the Bay of Naples, before continuing to a local restaurant for lunch. After lunch you can take advantage of some free time to explore Capri at your leisure. Don't forget to bring your camera!

You'll then return to Marina Grande and board the boat transfer to Naples. As you enter the port, you'll see Naples' splendid Castel Nuovo (a 12th-century fortress) and Royal Palace. Next, board the coach for your return three hour journey to Rome.
