Salzburg City Tour

The Salzburg city tour will begin at Mirabellplatz. From here we'll go by bus to the nearby Mirabell Gardens for a walk in the park that adorns the entrances to the palace of the same name. You'll find out about the love story between a prince-archbishop and his mistress, that initiated the construction of the palace and its gardens.

Next to Mirabell Palace, we'll find the Mozarteum music school and the Holy Trinity church, one of the most beautiful baroque places of worship. The tour will continue by crossing to the other side of the Salzach river along the Makartsteg pedestrian bridge, known for its many love locks.

After crossing, we'll arrive at Mozartplatz where we'll spot the impressive sculpture of the great local composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. We'll find out some of the curiosities surrounding this musical genius as we approach the nearby Residenplatz, where we can admire the Baroque towers of Salzburg Cathedral.

The tour will end at Getreidegasse Street, where you can visit Mozart's Birthplace at your leisure (entrance fees not included).
